Head and Hart has been placed 16th in The Retail Jewellers: Top 50 Inspiring Independents 2012. After coming 44th last year it is an amazing achievement to have moved up so many places and we are thrilled to have been recognised by our fellow jewellers again.

Husband-and-wife owners Andrew and Debbie Marshall, who previously took on Andrew’s parents’ store Lumar Jewels in Gravesend in 2001, are definitely getting it right. Their passion for the designers and brands they stock, which include Jayce Wong, Fran Barker and Stephen Webster, and the relationships they have nurtured with their customers place this stylish and welcoming indie firmly in our top 20.



Despite Head & Hart having been open for just two years, the retailer has become a favourite among customers and industry insiders alike. “Amazing, unique jewellery and friendly, happy staff in the heart of Kent,” enthused one voter from the trade.

The “friendly, happy staff” benefit from ongoing and thorough training, which not only motivates them, but also helps them guarantee first-class customer service. Their customers were not backwards in coming forwards about just how impressed they are by Head & Hart. “Their knowledge, enthusiasm, stock and the layout of the shop can’t be faulted,” said one customer, while another said that “they have always been a wonderful company to deal with”.

This is us at our first wedding fair in April. We will be at the Detling Wedding Show on Sunday the 21st of this month. If you’re attending, come and say hello, it would be nice to see a few familiar faces.
